Because Money Matters

"My focus is your education and comfort. We partner in the process in order for you to feel supported and heard along the way. You shouldn't feel surprised when your investments and the stock market fluctuates up or down."
Welcome and thank you for stopping to learn about me. My name is Michele Berson I live in California with two amazing dogs; my Havanese, Bernie, and long-haired German Shepherd, Goldie.
My journey began after graduating from UCLA with a BA in Economics. I loved the study of economics (still do) and was ready to take on the world.
I am a financial geek. I enjoy spending my off-hours reading and listening to anything about economics, finance, investments & financial planning.
My training began in banking. I entered an extensive management training program outlining how to run a major US bank. After the management training program in banking, I worked with large US corporations (usually public firms trading on the US Stock Exchange). As their banker, I helped them with cash flow needs, loans, and/or large lines of credit.
I concluded what I needed to learn about credit, debt, and financial health for corporations and high-net-worth clients. I turned my attention to the assets side of a client's balance sheet. I became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) when this industry was just beginning. The CFP designation requires annual ongoing education, which I applauded. It surprised me when education never changed or evolved. With nothing new to learn, I dropped the designation as a CFP. I felt my experience and background were my real education.

Helping you navigate to create your financial security is the reason I founded Berson Money Management. My preferred role is as a coach, mentor, teacher versus consultant.
I am happy and thankful to be able to do what I love and love what I do. I enjoy supporting you in your financial journey, and I hope that you join me on this exciting journey to create financial security in a changing world.
COVID-19, from a financial standpoint - is unprecedented in this lifetime. It seems to be an unwanted visitor and won't go away. How we deal with finances is very important. That is why I believe that more than ever, you need a trusted partner to help you maneuver through and keep you financially healthy.
